Sapporo Community Plaza Logo design

Logo design concept

The logo, designed with simple black lines and rectangles in the golden ratio, was inspired by the three-dimensional arrangement of the three facilities that make up the Sapporo Community Plaza: the Sapporo Cultural Arts Theater, the Sapporo Cultural Arts Community Center, and the Sapporo Municipal Library and Information Center. The logo was given a simple design so that it would be appreciated by people of all generations, and it was made in monochrome, without particular colors, in the hope that the Sapporo Community Plaza would remain open to diversity in art and culture and to differences in values among citizens.

The logo is used at all three facilities below.
